One Piece Episode 371 Review

Yet another Oz-Moria vs. Strawhat Pirates episode, but with interesting events.

One Piece returns this week with the Strawhat Pirates still trying to take the mighty combination of Oz and Moria. The episode starts with Moria telling the crew about his new technique , “The Shadow revolution”, which enables Oz’s body to become, as Moria says,” more flexible than rubber.”

The crew tries to launch another attack upon Brook the Skeleton’s demand. Usopp fires Brook through the Kuwagta , while Robin spins him and mid air. Nami completes the combination by electrifying him. The attack pierces Oz’s right shoulder, but it doesn’t affect him much. Brook is then annihilated by Oz’s attack as he was left helpless.

Robin attempts to use her powers on Moria, but he attacks her with his shadow and then switches places with it, rendering her attack useless. He then takes away her shadow, making her unconscious.

Meanwhile, Chopper discovered that Oz died of frostbite, and that while he does not feel any pain, he can still take damage from their attacks. Sanji and Chopper launch a combo attack on Oz, who then knocks out both of them with Gomu Gomu no Gatling, leaving only Nami, Zoro and Usopp standing.

Summarizing the review, this was another Oz-Moria vs. the Strawhat Pirates episode, but this was a bit more interesting due to some of the events that took place such as the taking away of Robin’s shadow. Oz’s weak points are revealed thanks to Chopper. There are some new moves that are revealed like the combined attack of Brook, Robin and Usopp. The audience is also informed as to how Moria manipulated Oz’s body to stretch like that.

Animation quality is yet again a standard considering it is a One Piece episode. The opening and ending themes remain the same.

And on that note,
