I just finished watching the Vampire Twins arc of Black Lagoon, so getting through this episode was rather painful. Not really solidifying the relationship between the two, this episode instead showed us how desparate vulnerable Michiko really is. What’s the point? To show she’s not so badass? We knew that because of how protective she is about Hatchin. That’s her weakness, not falling for someone like Bruno. The episode just reminded me of typical chick-flick American sitcoms. Hopefully next week sees us back to normal.
